It also includes scheduled order entry and data quality.RequiredQualifications / Skills / Abilities:High school Diploma and/or post-secondary medical secretarial education or equivalentSuccessful completion of PM Access (testing and training is available through Organizational Development and Learning)Proven experience in clinical scheduling environment – which includes using Cerner ESMAbility to utilize Cerner patient information system, which includes ADT procedures, FirstNet tracking & triage registration, statistical verification, census reportingExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyPatient-service focusedAbility to multi-taskMicrosoft Office experience in Word (to be tested)Typing – 30 WPM (to be tested) Medical terminology (to be tested)Ability to understand verbal and written instructions Capable of filingAbility to work all shiftsRecent satisfactory performance and attendance recordAdherence to Brightshores ‘CARE’ Behaviours (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Excellence) and ‘LEAD’ Competencies (Lead by example, Empower, Achieve results, Develop others) and a commitment to a safe workplace free of violence and harassmentAdvocates and supports a culture of patient safety and demonstrates an understanding of how the department service and assigned responsibilities contribute to overall patient safety at Brightshores through patient safety knowledge, skills and attitudes
