Requisition #:657672 Location:Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL 33701 Category:Clerical and Administrative Support Schedule:Day Shift Employment Type:Full TimePosition SummaryResponsible for supervision of office personnel and oversight of day to day departmental operations to ensure a positive, patient centric experience. This includes the consistent implementation and adherence to organizational policies and procedures as well as oversight of human resource management such as: payroll, time and attendance, coaching and mentoring of the team’s performance.Full Time, 40 Hours Per WeekShift: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pmLocation: St. PetersburgKey AccountabilitiesSupervises daily office operations to ensure all services are provided in a professional manner to meet the patient’s, customer’s, and provider’s needsBuilds a collaborative, engaged team for an efficient, patient centric experienceUtilizes Language of Caring in all interactionsOrients, coaches, mentors and evaluates all office personnel within assigned area to ensure competency to meet hospital’s high standardsProvides input into the annual budget and operates within the boundaries of an established budgetMonitors timely reconciliation and release of clinic charges and accurate point of service collection procedures to support revenue cycle metricsEnsures process for same day authorizations is consistent with processes in financial clearanceActively participates in process improvement initiatives to enhance quality outcomesEnsures location specific metric collection and goal attainmentOversees patient appointment processes and ensures patient access goals are attainedQualificationsA minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement.3 years medical office experience with knowledge of third-party payer requirements and authorization experienceRehab experience preferred Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with strong interpersonal and team building skills; familiarity with medical terminologySalary Range: Minimum 20.62/hour - Maximum 32.99/hour.
