Position: PAVIMAR S. A. Is looking for a Marine/Vetting SuperintendentPavimar S. A. , a global Ship Management company operating a fleet of Dry Bulk carriers worldwide is looking for a Marine/ Vetting Superintendent.

The successful candidate will be part of the Company’s Marine Department and will report to the Marine Manager. ResponsibilitiesMonitors dry bulk fleet’s planned maintenance program with respect to deck conditionImplements Company’s Preventive Maintenance SystemMonitors and physical attending Vetting / Rightship, PSC inspections and any 3 party inspection. Monitors troubleshooting of defects and follow-up of unscheduled repairsSpares and stores/consumables review and approvalMonitors assigned vessels’ expenditure vs operating expenses budget targetsRequirements:

Skills & QualificationsMinimum 3 years working experience as a Marine Superintendent position in dry bulk shipping companiesMinimum 5 years sea service as Deck OfficerISM, ISPS, MLC & ISO certified auditorTrained in Vetting, Risk Assessment, Investigation & AnalysisHave in depth knowledge of Marine department’s full range supportWilling to travel abroadExcellent command of Greek & English languagesComputer literate, (MS Office suite & Benefit ERP)Good interpersonal & communication skills (verbal & written) with ability to interact between shore and ship teamsGood negotiations skillsStrong safety cultureTeam playerOther information:
