Job Description

Duties Assist with payroll processing, including data entry and verification Review and record employee timesheets, vacation, and sick leave Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and benefits Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation Respond to employee inquiries about pay, taxes, and deductions Resolve payroll discrepancies and errors promptly Support tax reporting and filing of employment tax returns Generate payroll reports for HR, finance, and auditors Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Help onboard new employees by setting up payroll profilesRequirements High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree in accounting or finance preferred) Prior experience in payroll, accounting, or administrative support Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) Strong data entry and math skills Knowledge of payroll laws and procedures Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines High level of integrity and confidentiality Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy
