Job Description

Our client is a well known organisation based in North Dublin seeking to recruit a Payroll Specialist to look after all payroll related activities.Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties will include:Prepare weekly and monthly payroll for processingProcess payroll journals and statutory requirements Calculate overtime and prepare reports for Senior Management Support on project to upgrade time and attendance system Deal with all payroll related queries Bank account management Bank reconciliations Providing payslipsProducing monthly reports as requestedProcessing starters and leaversAdherence to deadlines in the processing and submission of all statutory returnsParticipate in payroll process improvement projects, efficiencies, automation, and systems enhancementsPayroll reconciliations and comparison reportsOther ad-hoc payroll related duties as requiredThe ideal candidate will have:Ideally IPASS qualified or working towardsAt least 2 years' payroll experienceAbility and track record of working to tight deadlines Thorough knowledge of Irish payroll processingExcellent time management and organisational skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent communication skills – fully fluent written and spoken English essentialTeam player with strong interpersonal skills Ability to take ownership of your roleThis position will suit an enthusiastic payroll professional looking to develop their career in a quality-driven organisation.
