Applying for this role is straight forward Scroll down and click on Apply to be considered for this position.Are you passionate about demonstrating real environmental impact and driving positive change for climate, nature, and communities?Ulster Wildlife is seeking a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to play a pivotal role in the ambitious PEAT+ Project - a cross-border initiative restoring peatlands across Northern Ireland and Ireland's border counties.As The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, You'll Be The Key Link Between Data And Impact - Helping Us Prove And Communicate The Difference PEAT+ Is Making. Working Closely With The PEAT+ Project Director, You WillDesign and develop the overall monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework for the project.Consult with project partners to finalise monitoring protocols and deliver training.Collect, collate, and analyse data and updates from all partners to track progress against key outcomes.Prepare quarterly reports and impact summaries for funders and stakeholders.What You'll BringExperience in project monitoring, evaluation, data analysis, and reporting.Proficiency in data collection tools, statistical software, and M&E methodologies.Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of project management and impact assessment principles.Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to engage effectively with diverse partners.Effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines.Experience in partnership and stakeholder coordination.A proven ability to work independently and take initiative.Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and adaptability to new technologies (such as AI-based tools).This is a full-time fixed term post to 30 June 2029. Part-time hours (30 hours per week) may be considered.Salary: £28,693 to £30,933.
