About the role:We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive People Administrator guru to support the daily operations of our small People team. Based out of AWC’s office in Subiaco, Western Australia, the People Administrator will handle a wide range of administrative tasks and ensure the smooth functioning of HR activities. This role requires a strong ability to multitask, excellent organisational skills and an understanding of HR policies and procedures.A primary focus for the People Administrator will be to take a proactive role in the administration and optimisation of a new HRIS (ELMO) platform and provide ongoing development and application across AWC’s core functions.Other key responsibilities will be to:Complete full employee life cycle HRIS administration tasks including timely employee profile updatesCollaborate with various departments to ensure HR systems and processes are alignedProvide human resources administration assistance including contracts of employment and/or variationsEnsure consistency in AWC brand including assisting with recruitment advertising campaignsGenerate HRIS generated reports as required and administration support to the Chief People OfficerParticipate in AWC People team initiatives including Internship programs, HR projects and payroll preparation, etc.Critical competencies:Administration experience across the entire HR function including recruitment and onboarding, remuneration benchmarking, employee appraisals, etcProficient ability in the use of HRIS platforms/systems (i.e. ELMO or similar)Strong skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and ExcelKnowledge of HR legislation and applicable industrial relations instruments (i.e. Awards) preferredDemonstrated confidence in work approach including ability to communicate across all stakeholder groupsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong and supportive team player attributesQualifications:Formal qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline is desirablePLEASE NOTE: This is a permanent, full-time position.
