In this role, you'll be at the heart of people management-driving team performance through clear objectives, thoughtful work allocation, and ongoing support. As an experienced professional with deep functional expertise, you'll also serve as the go-to point for complex case escalations, helping resolve issues with confidence and care. This is an exciting opportunity to combine leadership with hands-on expertise, shaping both the success of your team and the wider People Services function.This is a hybrid role, which will be based out of our Lawrenceville office 3 days a week.Key ResponsibilitiesWhat will you be doing?We are seeking a proactive People Services Team Lead to oversee the effective delivery of our Tier 1 People Services function. In this role, you will ensure processes, policies, and standard operating procedures are followed, while acting as the first point of escalation for complex colleague queries-resolving issues directly or escalating where required. You'll manage resources to deliver exceptional customer service in line with SLAs and KPIs, investigating service gaps and driving improvements where needed. With a strong grasp of multiple policies and legacy agreements, you'll provide accurate guidance and ensure smooth administration. Beyond operational excellence, you'll play a key role in people leadership-onboarding, coaching, and developing team members, setting performance expectations, and fostering a culture of engagement, growth, and collaboration. You will also lead the creation and maintenance of knowledge resources, champion compliance, and safeguard confidentiality while upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity. This is an exciting opportunity to combine leadership with operational expertise, ensuring both service excellence and a positive employee experience.What are we looking for?We are looking for an experienced People Services Team Lead with a proven track record of managing large, customer-focused teams and driving a high-performance culture. With 8+ years of experience in HR, customer service, or a related field, you will bring strong knowledge of HR processes across the full employee life cycle-including resourcing, onboarding, payroll, and compliance-while staying up to date with employment legislation. You will be confident in coaching, consulting, and guiding others, helping your team solve problems effectively and deliver exceptional service. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll engage with employees at all levels, provide constructive feedback, and lead discussions with impact. A high level of Microsoft Office proficiency is required, and experience with HR systems, SharePoint, or ServiceNow HRSD will be highly valued. A bachelor's degree, PHR certification, and familiarity with adapting policies to respond to internal or external changes are preferred.
