Based in Hørsholm and employing approximately 80 specialists, NACOS Lyngsø Marine plays a central role in developing future-ready solutions for safer and smarter ship operations. To support us on our R&D journey, we are introducing a new position: Product Owner. This role comes at a time when Lyngsø’s strong heritage in ship automation is being combined with NACOS Marine’s focus on delivering modern, integrated solutions for the maritime industry.
The roleAs our new Product Owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the inflow, execution, and delivery of development requests for the NACOS Automation portfolio, with a clear understanding of both the commercial and technical aspects. You will help establish structured R&D processes that make our solutions easier to maintain and further develop over time. You will be part of our Automation R&D team in Hørsholm and work closely with colleagues across NACOS Marine’s international setup.
Your expertise will guide teams working on hardware, embedded software, PC-based software, and cloud solutions, ensuring our products meet high standards of quality, reliability, and innovation. You will collaborate with stakeholders from Product Management, Navigation R&D, Service, and (Field) Engineering. Please note that this role does not include responsibility for planning, budgeting, resourcing, or competence development. The vision is to ensure the NACOS Automation product portfolio is:

Responsibilities: Actively contribute to NACOS Marine’s overall R&D strategy. Develop and maintain a clear and effective PO process with strong user involvement. Ensure alignment between scoping and test activities in close collaboration with the test manager.
Keep a solid overview of both implemented and upcoming requirements. Run the PO process with structure and care across all key stakeholders. Integrate the PO process as a working part of NACOS Marine’s CDI setup. Contribute actively to a strong and future-ready product roadmap. Ensure the technical and quality integrity of the portfolio from an R&D perspective. Collaborate with the test manager to define clear, testable requirements. Support long-term product scalability and maintainability. Provide input to internal roadmaps for technology and competence development.
