OverviewThis role is responsible for leading the weekly Make planning cycle, creating and releasing the Material Plan for particular categories. the individual will escalate any Make supply issue and support resolution, monitoring and managing supply exceptionsAlso accountable for completing the Monthly Materials Plan for 12-month rolling horizon for SKUs using the production plan and Suppliers’ feedback as key inputs to ensure supply. Utilises escalation path to MRP Planning Lead & Procurement for any material issue that may become a potential risk. ResponsibilitiesMaterials Planning:
Create Monthly MRP Plan based on production needs and available inventories Identify risks and opportunities and propose constrained scenarios to maximize service (liaising with MRP Planning Coordinator, Suppliers and Procurement if applies) Validate production and material plans in Weekly Plan Review Meeting Validate medium- and long-term material availability based on supplier feedback Monitor PR conversions and release of POs to suppliers Monitor Suppliers’ performance and feedback to ProcurementWorking Capital Management: Check materials’ availability and propose actions for excess / shortages Create inventory projections for RMPM ensuring alignment to targets. Analyse gaps and propose mitigation actions Business Waste Management:
Review weekly provision snapshot Create business waste projectionsQualifications Experience in Material Planning or familiar Supply Planning tasks Problem solving know-how Analytic skills Very good collaboration skills and ability to interact with multi-cultural teams spread across geographies Experience in ERP (SAP) usage nice to have Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel
