Our team is composed of movers, thinkers, storytellers, and lifelong learners - all aligned behind the mission of enabling workers to thrive physically and sustainably.About The RoleWe’re seeking a Performance Coach to join our national delivery team. You’ll bring your movement science expertise - especially from backgrounds in Strength & Conditioning, Athletic Training, or Physical Therapy - to help shape how thousands of workers move, train, and recover.This role is a hybrid of field delivery, remote coaching, curriculum development, and client-facing relationships. You’ll be responsible for executing workshops, designing job-specific protocols, and helping measure the ROI of our performance programs.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct high-impact in-person and virtual workshops on movement, ergonomics, injury prevention, and performance optimizationAnalyze job tasks and physical demands to prioritize risk areas and tailor interventionsCollaborate with internal product, research, and analytics teams to refine protocols, tools, and performance metricsDrive data capture, reporting, and insights that tie to client outcomes (e.g. engagement, injury trends, movement improvements)Create content (written, video, digital) that communicates our methodology and amplifies our reachTravel to client sites periodically (approx. 35–50%) to deliver on-the-ground coaching and supportAct as a brand ambassador - engaging with clients, stakeholders, and prospective partnersEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s or advanced degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, or a closely related field3–7 years of experience in coaching, clinical settings, professional/collegiate sports, performance training, rehabilitation, or “industrial athletics”Preferred certifications: NSCA-CSCS, NASM, AT, DPT, DC, or equivalentExperience with functional assessment tools and/or ergonomic certification (e.g. FMS, SFMA, movement screens, biomechanical analysis)Core CompetenciesDeep mastery of human movement, biomechanics, and corrective exerciseStrong presentation, communication, and instructional skills—comfortable leading groups of varying sizesAbility to translate complex science into accessible, actionable frameworksConfident in client-facing environments; strong relationship-building abilitySelf-starter who thrives in ambiguity, iteration, and fast-paced environmentsTech-forward mindset with interest in using tools like video analysis, LMS, data dashboardsIdeal AttributesPassionate about serving working populations and improving quality of life on and off the clockCurious, coachable, and always seeking better methods and evidenceMotivated by mission-driven work and seeing tangible impactAdaptable to shifting project needs, environments, and client contextsHow To ApplyIf you’re energized by the idea of applying movement science to the real world, want to travel and teach, and believe in enabling working people to move better for life, we’d love to meet you.Please SubmitYour resumeA cover letter telling us:Why you’re uniquely suited for this role at VimocityHow your background in strength, rehab, or athletic training would translate to workplace performanceWhat excites you most about helping industrial athletes move, perform, and recover
