You would be part of a dedicated team that thrives under pressure, adapts quickly, and takes pride in making a genuine difference to patients’ livesAbout the role:Working as a Pharmacy dispenser supporting the supply of CMBP in a specialist Private pharmacy. This is a niche role in a growing area. You would be working alongside specialist Clinical Pharmacists to make CMBP more accessible for all patients.Key responsibilities:Receiving and validating prescriptions ready for a clinical checkProcessing patient information appropriatelySupporting the Responsible Pharmacist & Technicians in the daily operations of the PharmacistBeing the first point of contact for any queries to the PharmacyMaintaining relevant records for the supply of CMBPMaintaining stock and security of any CMBP on siteMaintaining communication of prescription to the Department of Health to meet Regulatory RequirementsSupporting governance in the Pharmacy to ensure the pharmacy is operating as safely as possibleQualifications, skills and experience:A UK qualified Pharmacy dispenserIdeally Undertaken CPD-accredited medical cannabis educational programme - this can be providedSelf-motivated individual with high levels of attention to detail, able to work accurately, identifying errors quickly and easilyExperience in working in the pharmacy dispensary either primary and/or secondary environmentHas attention to detail, patience and the ability to remain calm during stressful situationsExcellence in communication skills with staff, patients and other healthcare professionals.
