Location: SSC Sports MedicineJob type: PermanentOverview Of RoleThe Physiotherapist will work alongside Senior Physiotherapists, Sports Physicians, and Orthopaedic Consultants to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services to athletes and active individuals. This role offers excellent mentoring, professional development, and exposure to complex sports injury cases in a high-performance clinical environment.Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesDeliver evidence-based assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and sports injuries.Assist in post-operative rehabilitation programmes.Support return-to-play planning for athletes.Contribute to injury prevention and performance programmes.Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Participate in CPD and in-service training sessions.Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards.Adhere to all UPMC policies including (but not limited to) GDPR compliance, Health and safety and incident reporting.Qualifications & ExperienceBSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.CORU registration.2 years post graduate experience in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively within a team.Desirable CriteriaExperience working with athletes or sports teamsMembership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP)This job description is intended to be an outline of the areas of responsibility.
