Physiotherapist*

OverviewThe Physiotherapist is responsible for the assessment and management of patients referred for physiotherapy. Under supervision, assist in areas such as clinical supervision, research, professional education and induction.Job ResponsibilitiesAssess and manage patients referred for physiotherapy independently and implement appropriate treatment plansDocument patient physiotherapy records accuratelyCharge patients accurately and update individual performance statistical records regularlyComply with clinical and service standardsSupervise Therapist Assistants in the workgroupAssist with induction of new physiotherapists deployed to the workgroupSupervise students on clinical attachmentPractice within areas of professional competence and seek clinical support from supervisor / other healthcare professionals when appropriateCollaborate with other healthcare members and participate in multidisciplinary discussions.Assist and/or co-lead in projects assigned to the workgroupManage and oversee therapy equipment inventoryReview and update clinical protocols and SOPsAssist in developing, promoting and marketing new clinical servicesContribute to departmental in-service training programs, hospital educational talks and external talks / workshops / forums / seminarsActively update physiotherapy knowledge and skillsRequirementsRecognised Degree in PhysiotherapyGood communication and interpersonal skillsService oriented and customer focusedTeam player1-3 years of relevant work experience and full AHPC registration preferredIf the role sounds interesting to you, please contact ‘careers_alexandra@nuhs.edu.sg’ to understand more on the role.
