Physiotherapist

Role DescriptionThis is a part-time role for a Physiotherapist based in the Johannesburg. The Physiotherapist will assess, diagnose, and create tailored treatment plans for patients with physical conditions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting physical therapy sessions, developing rehabilitation programs, monitoring progress, maintaining patient records, and educating patients on wellness and preventive care. The role requires occasional on-site presence with home visits.QualificationsExpertise in patient assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation to address musculoskeletal and physical conditions.Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills for patient care and collaboration with team members.Knowledge of and experience in therapeutic techniques and modalities.Strong organizational and documentation skills to keep accurate and thorough patient records.Ability to work in a hybrid environment, managing both in-clinic and remote responsibilities effectively.Registration or licensing as a Physiotherapist with the appropriate regulatory body.Proficiency with health and wellness education is an asset.Experience with diverse populations or specific rehabilitation areas like sports therapy would be beneficial.
