Job DescriptionPacker/Picker Handler PositionApplicants must be open to 1st or 2nt Shift.Position Description Responsibilities Include:Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment. Staging of productStrapping, wrapping and palletizing product. Empty recycle bins. Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements. Operate industrial power equipment. Restock and replenish as appropriate. Pack and ship products in accordance with company standards and customer requirementsUtilize warehouse management system to accurately track inventory and shipmentsOperate mechanical equipment such as slitters, sheeters, and baggers to pick items, and other heavy product as neededUse RF scanners to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of productsCollaborate with warehouse supervisor and team members to prioritize orders and meet shipping deadlinesPerform quality control checks to ensure products are packed correctly and meet quality standardsMaintain a clean and organized work areaEnsure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures. Perform general warehouse/production duties. Constant bending, kneeling, standing, lifting of 50pounds dailyBasic Cleaning of areaQualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse, with a positive attitude, wants to work hard, and is dependable.High School Diploma or equivalent. 0 - 1 year of general work experience. Prior warehouse/production/equipment service experience preferred but NOT required. Ability to operate a manual pallet jackDemonstrated attention to detail. Valid driver licenseMUST successfully complete a post offer physical, drug screening, and reference check are requiredPlastic Connections requires all applicants to undergo a background verification process prior to commencing employment with the company.
