We are all led by the same core values and believe in the powerful potential of large companies to have a positive impact on the world.The expansion of the Engineering Department means we are now looking to recruit new Process Piping Engineer in Skofja Loka, Slovenia and reporting to the Technology manager.Can you say ‘yes’?...Can you understand a piping design in an industrial context?Can you specify technical description for quotations and tendering?Can you demonstrate understanding of piping constrains ?Can you work efficiently with Plant3D, Naviswork, AutoCAD and the MS office suite ?As Process Piping Engineer, you'd be leading the aspect linked to piping engineering within greenfield and brownfield projects, assessing feasibility, defining scope & budget, manage tendering, planning and support the construction and the commissioning phases including acceptance and performance test.What you’ll be doing:Design and implement plant specific projects, for brown and greenfield projectsManage technical projects of 1M€ to 10M€ valueEstablish clear written customer expectations and measurements of the objectives at the beginning of each projectPrepare scopes and estimates with options/alternatives as appropriate to allow the customer to make business decisions and obtain appropriation approvalPrepare a project implementation plan complete with schedule, project organization, and contract strategyCommunicate well through periodic reports and reviews with the project team, engineering management, and the customerAnalyze various options for all phases of project execution, cost savings, schedule improvementManage engineering, planning, control, procurement and construction personnel in a matrix organization to accomplish project objectivesMotivate project team member and work with the project team members to ensure adequate and timely work to accomplish objectivesAdvise and support civil engineers with the detailed civil design (equipment/building interface)Advice and support Electrical & Controls engineers to define and commission control systemsSupport process and drafting engineers with the complete scope of piping design from (3D, Isometrics,…), P&ID’s, layouts Manage project changes to minimize cost, timing and performance impacts and obtain management approval of changes when requiredResolves issues and coordinate activities by serving as the focal point between the customer, project team and contractorsNegotiate issues with contractors/suppliers to the best interest of the project Deliver the objectives of the project on time, within budget tolerance, and meeting the fitness for useWhat we’d love for you to have:We are interested in you as a person; your attitude, behaviours and values. We're looking for someone who hasAn Engineering degree or equivalent by experienceAt least 5 years of experience in mechanical/electrical industrial projects.A good understanding of control systemsAutonomy, is organized and proactiveThe ability to work appropriately as the leader of a team, and be as comfortable with the theory as with the practiceEffectively communication skills and can work as part of a team with engineering and project managers, and maintaining the deadlinesThe capacity to create and maintain a positive relationshipAssertively and have self-confidence in presenting and supporting conclusions, having communication and interpersonal skillsMulti-tasking skills and can prioritize workA good knowledge of computer software tools (AutoCAD, plant3D, Navisworks, MS office, …)Ability to be a creative thinker; search solutions and simplify the situationFlexibility to travel up to 30% of the timeWe will provide:As this is a central, international position, the package and associated benefits will be those of the contract's host country.
