NMES supports its end-users by providing OEM level quality services and exceptional value creation through highly skilled and trained personnel, with capabilities to cover the maintenance and servicing of a wide range of turbines and generators, irrespective of the OEM, and supporting our customers in the following key areas:Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Generator inspections/overhauls, parts supply and engineering servicesGT / ST and Generator corrective maintenance and repairs on a standby basisGenerator robotic inspections, rotor and stator rewindsAuxiliaries Inspections/overhauls and parts supplyTurnkey GT/GTG/ST/STG/ Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), Long-Term Maintenance Agreements (LTMAs), Long-Term Manpower Supply (LTMSAs) and Long-Term Part-Supply Agreements (LTPSAs)On-Site Intervention Services (OSIS) – Spark Erosion; in-situ valve repairs; on-site machining (CNC and Rotor Lathe); low speed balancing; Trevi-TestingOn site Surface Preparation – ice blasting, coating and curing of Compressor parts (blades/vanes) with Aluminum Chromate coatingsIn-house Re-Engineering and Design teamThe Planner is responsible for providing support for the planning and delivery of projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Perform maintenance and outage planning and scheduling activities that include liaising with Outage Managers and Clients, manpower estimating, preventive and predictive maintenance. Reviewing schedules and s-curves and providing support for Junior Planners. Tracking of physical progress on site against the schedule and tracking man-hours (timesheets) in an accurate and consistent manner.Key Responsibilities Schedule Development and Maintenance: Manage the creation and maintenance of project schedules, including the development of detailed project tasks and resource plans. Ensure that schedules are up-to-date and accurate at all times. Ensure that schedules are in line with planning best practices.Liaise with Outage Managers, Planning Manager & Technical Director to determine manpower requirements, both internal and third party.Project Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, identify any potential issues or delays, and communicate these to the Planning Manager. Work closely with the project team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.Project Reporting: Support the Project Control Department in the preparation of project status reports and presentations, ensuring that all information gets communicated in a timely manner.Documentation Management:Assist in the management of project documentation, ensuring that all relevant information is stored in a centralized location. Ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.Development and maintenance of documentation required by management, insurance representatives, and auditors by maintaining records of all activities - outage and/or maintenance historical records to facilitate efficient and comprehensive planning and scope development of future work.Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with stakeholders, including project team members, clients, and suppliers, to ensure that project progress is understood and expectations are managed. Respond to inquiries, resolve any issues, and provide updates as required.Continuous ImprovementContinuously seek opportunities to improve project processes and procedures, improve planning, and identify and implement best practices to enhance project delivery.Serve as a point of contact for Planning Manager and Senior Project Controls Manager, liaising with Junior Planners and back office daily in the form of reports.Optimize and innovate maintenance planning systems to ensure efficient use of resources & manpower at each outage.To prepare Shutdown and Annual Outage Schedule using Primavera P6 and MS Project for the Shutdown Preventive Maintenance and shutdown hold corrective maintenance and to monitor the progress.To prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports.Qualification, Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as project management, engineering, or any relevant internationally recognized project management certificate3-5 years of experience in a similar role, generation experience preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Projects or Primavera scheduling software, certification in the sameIntermediate knowledge of ExcelManagement and stakeholder management skillsDesired CharacteristicsStrong team player attitude: maintain flexibility within the changing business priorities and able to operate independently Able to identify opportunities and innovate improvementsExcellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environmentMust have the ability to troubleshoot to determine the causes of errors and the solutions to resolve the issues.
