Planning Department Director A global leader in the personal care industry is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Planning Department Director .Tasks & Responsibilities:• Establish and lead the organizational planning department, including recruitment, training, and defining roles for a team of 5-7 employees.• Build and maintain the annual production plan based on global sales forecasts, in collaboration with plant leadership• Lead monthly S&OP meetings to align production plans and update forecasts• Manage inventory planning: maintain forecasts and safety stock levels, run MRP processes, and approve purchasing requirements• Monitor inventory availability, prioritize supply deliveries, and handle near expiry stock in coordination with Quality• Prepare shipping plans based on inventory readiness and production completion• Continual improvement of planning tools in the ERP system and of the planning processes• Track and report key planning KPIs• Support supplier and subcontractors performance evaluation in collaboration with purchasing and quality.Desired Skills & Abilities:• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering• Minimum of 7 years of experience in planning, including at least 3 years in managing planners within a large-scale industrial manufacturing environment• Excellent knowledge of production planning principles• Proven experience with MRP system and with S&OP Processes• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and data analysis tools• Analytical and detail-oriented with solid math and statistical skills• Deadline driven. Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work and motivate all levels of employees• Fluent in English (good reading skills)
