Lead Planner – EU (MEP / Building Services)Location: Dublin or Cork Office Travel: Extensive travel across mainland Europe Sector: Data Centre ConstructionWe are seeking an experienced Lead Planner to support the delivery of large-scale data centre projects across mainland Europe. This is a key leadership role suited to candidates with strong Mechanical or Electrical backgrounds, ideally within MEP or building services environments.Role OverviewAs Lead Planner, you will manage a team of planners, drive schedule development, and ensure programme accuracy across major projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, engage with multiple stakeholders, and contribute directly to successful project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and manage a team of planners from Graduate to Senior level.Define team structure, responsibilities, and workload management.Ensure all deadlines and project milestones are met.Develop and manage project programmes using Primavera P6 or ASTA PowerProject.Produce high-quality planning deliverables using Excel, Power BI, and Bluebeam.Prepare Pre-Construction, Construction, and Commissioning schedules.Carry out weekly site walks to maintain an accurate understanding of progress.Liaise with project teams to resolve day-to-day issues and maintain schedule integrity.Manage the full project planning lifecycle and drive engagement across teams.Attend internal and external meetings with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.Build strong working relationships to support alignment and communication across the project.Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, Construction, QA, Turnover, and other functions.Identify and mitigate risks before they impact project performance.Candidate RequirementsAdvanced proficiency in Primavera P6 or ASTA.Strong Mechanical and Electrical construction experience, ideally on data centre projects.Understanding of Delay Analysis techniques.Experience with BIM processes and engineering workflows at pre-construction stage.Familiarity with QA handover and Commissioning (Cx) requirements.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.Willingness to travel extensively across mainland Europe.PackageCompetitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package.Clear career progression with ongoing professional development and upskilling opportunities.Supportive work environment with a strong focus on employee wellbeing.Opportunity to work on high-value, technically complex international projects.How to ApplyIf you are interested in this role or would like to learn more, please get in touch directly:Lee Parker Email: lee.parker@icds.ie Phone: 087 378 0863
