Plant Engineer

Plant EngineerFor our client, a leading supplier of resins and specialty materials that enable customers to create robust, durable, and versatile products and components, we are seeking a Plant Engineer! An ideal first step of your career after a suitable intern period or a good second step! (must be able to speak Dutch decently). In this position you will analyze and improve the performance of the plant with regards to technical, economic, safety and environmental aspects. You will take the lead in allocating and finding root causes for opportunity gaps like volume, time, quality and variable costs losses to functional groups, cause categories, equipment discipline, plant sections and tag. Manage projects within defined targets, milestones and resources. A very challenging position where you will communicate will all levels of the plant, operators, technicians, production, maintenance, HS&E and quality. What You’ll Be Doing (a summary) Analyze performance of equipment and processes;Adapt equipment for new products, new recipients or new legislation;Engineer and design plant improvements and modifications;Work in accordance with company’s values, HR and HS&E policies: instructions, minimum requirements and guidelines;You will prepare proposals for the improvement of the site (safety, environment, working methodologies);What You Bring0 to 5 years’ experience in engineering or maintenance in industry, chemical related is a plus;Good reporting knowledge, SAP, monthly quality reporting, etc.;Knowledge of the plant improvement and management of change work processes;Higher technical school or university degree in engineering;Knowledge of chemical processes;Experience with Delta V and/or AspenTech is an advantage; Project management skills.What We OfferA rewarding and challenging role in a globally active companyA collaborative, forward-thinking team environmentA competitive salary package tailored to your experience and backgroundA full-time position with opportunities to grow, 0.8FTE is possibleInterested in this position?
