What is the primary function of this role?This position provides financial leadership to the Haina plant in the Industrial Controls Division, serving as a business partner to the Plant Manager and leadership team, and as a change agent to drive plant continuous improvement actions and to achieve overall plant targets. If this is a re-evaluation of an existing role, highlight the job responsibilities that are new to the role."Key responsibilities of a Plant Finance Manager may include: Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and performance metrics related to the operations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Drives accountability for results and defining key performance metrics together with business leaders Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making, such as evaluating capital deployment opportunities or new projects. Driving initiatives (including CAPEX and INVENTORY) and influence changes: ensure productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality and supply chain management Collaborative Planning: Work closely with the operations team to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights. Drive and monitor the implementation of the plans Financial Modeling: Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance. Risk Management: Identify financial risks within the operations and propose mitigation strategies. Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance against targets. Cost Management: Monitor and manage operational costs to achieve efficiency and cost-reduction while maintaining quality. Inventory Management: Implement Inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability while maximizing cash Talent Management: Builds organizational capability through successful hiring, talent development, and succession planning in the business Forecasting: lead the main financial processes for the site, such forecasts and profit plan Cost Accounting: Analyze and interpret financial data related to the costs incurred by a company during its operations with the primary objective to provide valuable insights to management, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding cost efficiency, pricing strategies, and overall financial performance.Interim State Job ResponsibilitesLead and support the finance and plant leadership teams through finance transformation: Champion the finance culture change at the plant level, aiding the finance team to operate as business partners. Support all CoE and Transformation initiatives as required.QualificationsEducation level requiredBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related fieldYears And Area Of Experience Required5-8 years varied finance/accounting experience; 2 years of data analytics experience is preferredTechnical knowledgeStrong financial acumen and business partnering skillsBilingual (English and Spanish)"Skills Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts to non-financial professionals Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills Highly motivated, highly analytical and self-starterWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
