Plant Manager Location: Poland Full time Position Petroplan is proud to be working exclusively in partnership with RECO in the search for Plant Managers to oversee their solar PV operations in Poland.Headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark - RECO is a leading renewable energy investor and asset manager with a rapidly expanding portfolio of solar assets across Europe with future global ambitions too. The company combines long-term investment strategy with a strong focus on operational excellence, ensuring their renewable assets deliver reliable clean energy for decades to come.As part of their continued growth in Europe, RECO is seeking to hire experienced Plant Managers to take ownership of the operational performance of solar facilities in their respective countries.This is a fantastic opportunity for an Energy industry professional who enjoys being close to the assets, working with technical teams and contractors, and ensuring plants operate safely, efficiently and at peak performance. The company are renowned for investing in their employees, and providing career defining development paths.Renewable Energy Company (RECO) Would you like to lead plant operations and help strengthen operational performance in an international company driving the green transition?Renewable Energy Company (RECO) are looking for a Plant Manager to take a key role in managing the day to day operations and technical performance of their renewable energy plants in Poland. In this role, you will work closely with both technical and operational teams, ensuring efficient, safe, and reliable plant performance while supporting continuous improvement across the assets.You will report to the Head of Operations and become part of an international environment with strong competencies in renewable energy operations, engineering, and plant management.About RECORenewable Energy Company (RECO) is a European renewable energy company established in 2025 through the merger of several strong players in the sector. In a rapidly evolving industry, they value curiosity, collaborationn, and initiative.As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the following:Oversee the safe, reliable and efficient operation of solar PV plants, maximising energy production, availability and performance ratio.Manage and coordinate plant maintenance, repair activities and technical interventions to ensure asset integrity and operational performance.Supervise and manage O&M contractors, maintenance providers and specialist suppliers, including scope, service delivery and SLA performance.Review and approve technical and commercial proposals, ensuring solutions balance technical requirements, operational costs and production impact.Manage incident resolution, work orders and operational issues in coordination with monitoring and operational teams.Monitor plant performance and operational KPIs, analysing production data and identifying underperformance or optimisation opportunities.Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance programmes are implemented effectively across assets.Maintain technical documentation, plant data and operational reporting to ensure accurate asset records and compliance.Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards and company policies, including H&S and ESG requirements.Support plant optimisation, retrofit, revamping or repowering initiatives and provide technical input into improvement projects where required.Manage local stakeholders and supporting service providers such as security, vegetation management and cleaning services.Conduct site inspections and contractor oversight to ensure quality of work and operational standards.Your experiences and education:Degree qualified – in any related discipline.Technical backgroundWorked in Renewable Energy sectorExperience managing the technical and operational performance of power generation assets.Experience overseeing maintenance activities and asset integrity programmes.Experience managing O&M contractors, maintenance providers and external service suppliers.Experience working with technical specifications, suppliers and contractors.Experience managing service providers and stakeholder relationships.Experience supporting technical retrofit, revamping or repowering initiatives and project activities.Experience working with internal operational teams and external technical service providers.Must Speak fluent English and Polish If you feel that your experience meets this criteria, and you wish to apply to join an innovative company with high level growth ambitions, please contact RECO@Petroplan.com with your CV and contact information.
