Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required.Start Date: ImmediateCompensation: $60-85k plus benefitsJOB DESCRIPTION Caruso Ventures is seeking a versatile and creative Platform & Content Generalist to help shape, grow, and manage Caruso Ventures’ and Dan Caruso’s platform as thought leaders and influencers, while also contributing to broader projects within our entrepreneurial single-family office.This is not a narrow specialist role — as part of a small, fast-moving team, you’ll wear many hats. Some days you’ll be producing content, running social campaigns, or editing podcasts; other days you’ll be researching emerging trends, supporting community initiatives, or coordinating across ventures. Promoting content – e.g., The Bear Roars podcast, the book Bandwidth, the documentary Our Quantum Future, and the Boulder Roots Music Fest  – is also in the scope. The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, is comfortable working across disciplines, and brings a blend of strategic thinking, creative storytelling, and operational flexibility.Caruso Ventures, LLC is a growing, entrepreneurial organization operating as a single-family office. The individual will have extensive opportunities for continuous learning and intellectual growth, particularly for someone striving for ongoing career development. RESPONSIBILITIES Platform Development & GrowthSupport the expansion of Caruso Ventures’ platform through substack, podcasts, newsletters, LinkedIn, X, and other channelsBuild and manage an editorial calendar that integrates multimedia content, community engagement, and timely thought leadershipTrack analytics, experiment with new features, and refine approaches that grow reach and influenceContent & Media ProductionProduce and edit podcasts, short-form video, newsletters, and graphicsTranslate research and insights into compelling platform-ready contentExplore emerging media formats and AI-enabled tools to stay ahead of trendsResearch & InsightsMonitor developments in Colorado’s tech, entrepreneurial, and political ecosystemsSurface stories, themes, and data that can inform content strategy and investment perspectivesConduct research to support both content initiatives and broader office projectsGeneralist ContributionsPitch in on projects across the office — from portfolio research to event supportAssist with communications, operations, and ad hoc priorities that advance Caruso Ventures’ missionServe as a flexible team player, helping ensure that important opportunities don’t fall through the cracksPREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, media, business, or related field2–5 years of experience in content creation, media production, or platform growthStrong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formatsFamiliarity with analytics, digital tools, and social media best practicesProficiency with GSuite and Notion; audio/video editing tools a plusInterest in business, tech, and politics, particularly in ColoradoCHARACTER AND PERSONALITY TRAITSIntegrity, discernment, and regard for a high level of confidentiality Strong problem solving skills and ability to thoughtfully apply sound judgment in decision-making Detail-oriented; naturally adept and skillfully trained toward precision and accuracy Ownership mindset; showing care for doing things the right way and taking comfort in being responsible for your outcomesAbility to effectively manage expectations through internal communications Hands-on, resourceful, and solutions-oriented with a can-do approach and figure-it-out mentality Resilient and energized by working with high achievers Strong interpersonal skills that instill confidence and credibility and allow for authentic, warm relationships built on trust and respect Dependable; strong sense of urgency and follow through, results oriented ABOUT USWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
