Job Title: Playout Operator – Media OperationsJob Code: 5600Location: Abu Dhabi, UAEExperience: 3 – 5 yearsEducation: Diploma's degree from an academic institution recognized in the United Arab Emirates.Industry: Technology & OperationLanguage: EnglishJob SummaryOperate, control and monitor the multi-channel broadcasting systems as well as ancillary equipment, ensuring that all materials, promotions and data required in the broadcast system are taken advantage, ensuring compliance with the internal policies, procedures, and standards of Abu Dhabi Media Company as well as Guidelines related to laws and regulations in the UAE.Key ResponsibilitiesControl audio and video equipment for live streaming and update playlists when changes occur to ensure high-quality TV output.Operate assistive broadcast equipment such as graphics, animation, audio, and video integration tools to enhance overall broadcast quality.Monitor the strength, clarity, and reliability of incoming and outgoing signals and adjust equipment as needed to maintain seamless transmission.Prepare and operate portable field broadcast equipment for on-site production outside the studio.Preview scheduled commercials to ensure they are ready for broadcast according to the booking order.Coordinate with the Master Control Room (MCR) team to manage and customize all live events and integrate local and global broadcast resources.Communicate with the media team to highlight missing programs, commercials, or promotions.Report equipment issues promptly and ensure timely repairs to avoid broadcast interruptions.Coordinate and collaborate with relevant teams regarding scheduled commercials, program changes, and emergencies to ensure uninterrupted broadcasting.Work closely with all organizational units to ensure smooth daily operations.Ensure full compliance with all Abu Dhabi Media Company policies, laws, procedures, and controls related to health, safety, and environment (HSE).Maintain strict confidentiality of all work-related information and refrain from sharing sensitive data with unauthorized parties.Perform any additional tasks or duties assigned by the line manager in alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
