The employee recognizes that they may be required to undertake work that is outside of the specifics of this job description from time to time, as required and requested to do so for the good operations of the Archetype Group, and they agree to undertake all reasonable and lawful instructions provided to them.ResponsibilitiesPerform duties assigned by MEP Director/Manager/Team Leader, and ensure all duties are undertaken within the required timeframe.Prepare concept, basic and detail design drawings in Revit MEP or AutoCAD, ensuring that the design are undertaken in accordance with local codes and international standards.Undertake all necessary design calculations and analysis along with schematic diagrams and select appropriate equipment size.Liaise with the project architects, other engineering disciplines, sub-consultants and clients as required.Undertake site visits as required.Undertake quality assurance checking of drawings and calculations produced by self and that of other team members as directed by Team Leader/Manager.Ensure that all drawings are reviewed and checked before submission to the Team Leader and are also checked by the Team Leader prior to external issue.Assist the team leader in producing the design specifications, design reports and to finalize all design calculations as required.Review shop drawings and material submissions from contractor/construction manager.Follow Company’s design procedures, professional standards/rules.Liaise with contractors and undertake site inspection duties as required.Perform the duties under the assigned task of Team Leader within the time frame.Propose technical innovations to the Team Leader to improve the design.Assist the team leader in preparing equipment & material quantity take-off and cost estimate from the design.Prepare equipment & material technical schedules and submit to Team Leader for review and validationRequirements:Degree qualified in Water supply and drainage Engineering.Be a licensed Water supply and drainage Engineer or be eligible to become a licensed Water supply and drainage Engineer.Years of experience: 3 - 5 Years Post Graduate ExperiencePrevious experience working within an Engineering consulting environment, with a clear focus on design experience.Intermediate time management and organizational skills with the ability to self-manage billable hours and ability to undertake your own work with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.Advanced knowledge of design software in relation to the MEP design including Revit, AutoCAD and MS office software such as Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Project & Access.Site inspection or supervision experience on building construction projects.Intermediate knowledge of International Building Codes and Design Standards including environmental building standards (LEED and similar).Intermediate written and spoken communication skills in English.Previous experience within design teams and on Author’s Supervision duties. What we offer:Rewarding compensation – Competitive salary with 100% SHUI applied during probation, 13th-month bonus, and annual salary reviews.Work–life Balance – 12 annual leave days and 4 paid sick leave days per year.Comprehensive care – Premium health insurance for you and your loved ones, plus an annual medical check-up to keep you at your best.Fun & Connection – Join our regular social activities, sports clubs, and team-building events such as company trips, year-end parties, and more.Everyday comfort – Enjoy free coffee and convenient vending machines right in the office.Growth opportunities – Access to training programs to boost your career.Team spirit – Active union activities and ongoing support for employees.
