Job Description
The Key Purpose of this role is to manage the execution of strategic initiatives sponsored by the CEO across the Africa Zone, ensuring operational discipline, cross-functional coordination, and timely delivery of programs aligned with the 2030 mission.Key Roles & Responsibilities:Support and co-own the execution of key strategic projects, ensuring alignment with overall business priorities.Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to drive project success.Oversee project governance processes to ensure compliance and accountability.Track and report progress against strategic goals, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders.Ensure the timely deployment and implementation of strategic initiatives across the Zone.Optimize resource planning and manage the overall project portfolio.Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project plans to ensure milestones and deliverables are met.Manage interdependencies across projects to mitigate risks and ensure seamless execution.Facilitate alignment and effective communication among cross-functional teams and project sponsors.Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide accurate visibility into project performance.Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery.Support resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple business units.Key Attributes & Competencies:Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination skills.Strong project management discipline and ability to manage complex, multi-market initiatives.High agility and adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic environments.Proactive communicator with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization.Strong data analysis and performance tracking capabilities.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).Minimum 8 years of experience in FMCG or consulting, with exposure to multi-functional project execution.Strong understanding of strategic planning and business transformation.PMP or equivalent certification is advantageous.Additional Information:Band: VISAB/AB InBev is an equal opportunity employer, and all appointments will be made in line with SAB/AB InBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
