The candidates have to currently based in Japan to apply for this role.Your new company A leading hydrogen fuel cell developer and manufacturer, helping build a zero-emissions world. Your new role Project Management SupportAssist project managers with planning, progress tracking, resource allocation, and scheduling.Clarify project goals and deliverables, and manage progress toward team objectives.Project Portfolio ManagementMonitor the organization's project portfolio, prioritize projects, and adjust resources.Report portfolio progress regularly and provide updates to senior management.Risk Management & Issue ResolutionDetect risks early and propose/implement mitigation strategies.Respond quickly to issues and offer appropriate solutions.Standardisation & Process ImprovementStandardise project management methods and processes across the organisation.Propose improvements within the PMO to enhance project efficiency.Stakeholder CoordinationCommunicate smoothly with all stakeholders to understand needs and progress.Act as a liaison to ensure smooth project execution.Project Management Tools ImplementationSupport the adoption and operation of tools like JIRA, Trello, and Microsoft Project.Use tools to track progress and issues in real time.Reporting & Progress MonitoringRegularly report project status to executives and relevant departments.Identify and address problems or delays early.What you'll need to succeedExperience in project management (preferably as PMO or project manager)Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile)Strong communication skills for cross-department coordinationRisk management and problem-solving capabilitiesExperience with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, MS Project)Data analysis skills for tracking progress and risksTeam leadership experienceBusiness-level proficiency in both English and Japanese (due to offshore development)What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
