The State of Georgia Records Center is located in Austell.Job Summary This position serves as the primary Board of Regents (BOR) representative for facility outsourcing agreements for operations and maintenance, primarily in on-campus student housing, and managing the overall relationship with the Supplier and participating USG Institutions.Supports Director of Real Estate Ventures in driving consistency in procurement, finance, processes and standards.Monitors and reports on Supplier's performance of its contractual requirements and ensures all aspects of the agreement is adhered to or modified as required to reflect current operating practices.Has overall responsibility for managing and coordinating BOR and USG Institution compliance with its obligations under the agreement.Works with Supplier's Account Director to support the realization of the goals and objectives of the relationship.This position involves significant coordination with internal stakeholders in Facilities, Fiscal Affairs/Finance, Housing, and Student Affairs.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and ensure Supplier provides its required deliverables and meets its commitmentsLiaise with and provide guidance to Supplier's leadership with regard to BOR/USG Institution's strategic needsSupport objective of integrated, reliable, high-quality, continuous services across all facilitiesManage the development of O&M and CRR budgets each yearReview Supplier's management reports and act on identified opportunities and risksManage the governance process and function, and ensure governance meetings are held and recorded in compliance with the agreementParticipate in the resolution of escalated issues and track and report on progressSupport the BOR/USG Institution's leadership in ensuring Supplier compliance with Approved Budgets in connection with the AgreementManage the Supplier's performance program as prescribed in Supplier AgreementManage the approval or decline any Continuous Improvement Plan for improving Supplier's performanceEnsuring that all contract-related policies and procedures developed by Supplier for the relationship are approved and implementedWork with Subcontracts on addendums and updates to the AgreementConduct regular site visits, calls, and meetings with Institution and Supplier representativesReview monthly invoices for accuracy and compare to budget expectationsAttend Quarterly review meetings at each InstitutionOther duties and projects as required or assigned.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesKnowledge of Board of Regents organization, policies and proceduresKnowledge of and familiarity with student life issuesKnowledge of student housing operations, management, and budgetsKnowledge of real estate operations and budgetsSkill in collaborating with multiple constituentsSkill to lead and work with teams, problem solve, consensus-building techniquesSill in portfolio and project management executionSkill in reading, analyzing and interpreting financial reports and procedures manuals.Skill in managing legal documents including contracts and concessionaire agreementsSkill in decision-making and problem solving.Skill in oral, written communication and presentationsSkill with Microsoft Office: Excel/PowerPoint/WordSkill in learning new software applicationsSkill with PeopleSoft and Banner USG Core ValuesThe University System of Georgia is comprised of our 26 institutions of higher education and learning as well as the System Office.
