Workload: 100%As Portfolio Manager Power & Gas, you will be responsible for optimizing Axpo’s energy portfolio in Romania and Hungary. You will develop hedging strategies, manage risks, and collaborate closely with internal teams to maximize value. This role requires strong analytical skills, a commercial mindset, and a strategic approach.What you will do:Optimize Axpo’s power and gas portfolio in Romania and HungaryDevelop and implement hedging strategies to balance risk and rewardStructure and execute hedging strategies for standard and non-standard productsCreate pricing models and conduct sensitivity and market analysesEngage in negotiations and support front-office teams with market insightsEnsure compliance with internal and external regulationsWhat you bring & who you are:At least 5 years of experience in energy trading or portfolio managementStrong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to manage complexityDeep understanding of European energy and commodities marketsEntrepreneurial mindset with a structured and strategic approachFluency in English; Hungarian is a plusProficient in Excel; experience with Endur & eRisk is an advantageAbout the team:At Axpo Energy Romania, you’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that values innovation and expertise.
