This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing portfolio operations team — a collaborative group of private equity professionals focused on driving value across a global portfolio of companies. You will lead value creation efforts across the A/NZ region, partnering with deal teams and portfolio company leadership to define, execute, and evolve impactful strategies throughout the investment lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Act as a trusted advisor and partner to direct investing teams, supporting due diligence and shaping value creation strategies (VCPs) for new and existing investments.Lead the development and execution of VCPs, including identifying strategic initiatives, setting KPIs, and mobilising action plans.Work directly with management teams and boards to implement key value drivers, from transformation initiatives to talent optimisation.Oversee and guide third-party advisors, ensuring delivery aligns with value creation goals.Evaluate organisational structures and leadership within portfolio companies to ensure alignment with value delivery needs.Lead strategic, high-impact projects and foster collaboration among stakeholders such as consultants, CEOs, advisors, and board representatives.Promote innovation in value creation, champion best practices, and encourage experimentation across the portfolio.Represent the portfolio operations team at regional off-sites, internal events, and junior talent development programs. Who You’ll Work With:You will and collaborate closely with the in-market investment team and broader portfolio operating teams. Key stakeholders include direct investing professionals, portfolio company boards and executives, and the funds’ leadership. You may also take on board roles or strategic oversight responsibilities as required. Ideal Candidate Profile:Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience, ideally in private equity operations, management consulting, or operating roles with P&L or general management responsibilities. Regional Expertise: Prior exposure in the Australian & New Zealand markets is requiredSkills: Strong strategic problem-solving abilities, high emotional intelligence and humility, proven leadership, and excellent communication skills. Able to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.Education: Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree or MBA preferred.Travel: Willingness to travel as required across the region.
