Our client is a leading, well known, Fund (Buy-Side) based in NYC seeking a Senior Associate to join their growing Portfolio Analytics Team. This individual will be responsible for working with Firms' Data/ Trading Analytics and providing insightful data bases models to support recommendations. Ideal candidate must possess superior Data skills (Python/VBA/SQL), or other data analysis tools with ability to use market data to create market researchRESPONSIBILITIESReview and analyze portfolio/market data, benchmark performance and risk statistics (advanced Python and Excel)Conduct in-depth analysis of financial market data using Python/SQL, providing actionable recommendationsProvide data-driven Insights for Leadership teamThis role will be responsible for continuously enhancing firm's risk monitoring processPrepare financial models and data using specialized tools; SQL/PYTHONPartner with executive leadership to deliver actionable insights through dashboards and reports, supporting the development of innovative, market-leading solutionsWork with all levels of team members across the organization to help coordinate data feeds for various internal and external databases, in effort to ensure the integrity and consistency of portfolio data reported across client reporting systemsReview and make necessary adjustments to client quarterly reports to ensure reports are sent out in a timely mannerProvide various ad hoc data research and analysis as needed.Desired Skills and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree requiredCFA or CFA in progress preferredAdvanced Proficiency in PYTHON/SQLTechnical knowledge using market data analytics tools (Factset/Bloomberg/IDC etc) and prior experience using CRMs (Salesforce)Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of ManagementComfortable working in a fast-paced, dead-line driven dynamic environmentInnovative and creative thinkerMust be detail oriented
