Building on the expertise of Elia Group (Belgium) and 50Hertz (Germany) ,EGI delivers strategic, technical, and regulatory advisory services to tackle complex challenges of the energy transition.With offices in Belgium, Germany, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Canada, and the USA, EGI partners with clients across the globe to deliver high-impact projects in power system planning, smart grids design & digitalization, asset management, HVDC, FACTS, and renewable integration.As we continue to scale up and expand internationally, our ambition is to become a global leader in power systems consultancy, helping build resilient and sustainable energy systems worldwide.Typical activities involve (but are not limited to):Analysis and definition of planning principles;Power System Model definition and validation;Enhancing methodologies to plan power systems facing massive RES & BESS integration, demand evolution and optimisation of transmission investments;Mastering links with technico-economic models to define critical operating points;Steady-state analysis (load flow, short circuit calculations, hosting capacity, etc);Dynamic stability analysis (frequency, transient & voltage stability..);Support the analysis and evaluation of grid reliability and security (eg capacity calculation, balancing, operational planning..);Writing reports presenting results of the analysis;Support the company’s business development teams in identifying and pursuing opportunities by establishing trusted relationships with our clients and developing of proposals.
