Position SummaryThe Controller will be a key member of the finance leadership team, overseeing all accounting operations and supporting strategic decision-making. This role will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with all relevant regulations, and the development of scalable processes that support our growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets. Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate, timely financial statements. Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development and accountability. Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets. Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners. Partner with the CFO to provide financial insights, forecasting, and analysis for strategic planning. Ensure compliance with GAAP and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required; MBA preferred). 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong technical accounting skills with deep knowledge of GAAP. Experience with ERP systems (e. g. , Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, Business Central or Finance & Operations preferred preferred). Proven track record of building and leading high-performing accounting teams. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
