About the Role: Shizen Energy Group is seeking a highly motivated and bilingual PPA Origination & Execution Analyst to join our diverse team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with foundational experience in finance or renewable energy to rapidly develop a career in corporate PPA procurement. You will support the team in identifying, negotiating, and executing corporate PPAs with corporate offtakers across the APAC markets.Please note that, sadly, we won't be able to consider candidates located outside of Japan without a valid visa.Responsibilities: This role involves supporting the team in various aspects of corporate PPA procurement, including market analysis, financial modeling, deal execution, and industry knowledge development.Market Analysis & Target Identification: Conduct research to identify prospective corporate Offtakers with renewable energy goals and suitable energy load profiles in key APAC markets. Support the creation of origination strategies, market mapping, and contact lists.PPA Financial Modeling & Structuring: Assist in developing and maintaining financial models to evaluate PPA pricing, risks, and commercial terms (e.g., mark-to-market valuations, PPA hedging strategies, cash flow analysis). Model the financial impact of different PPA structures (physical vs. virtual) on both the corporate Offtaker and the renewable energy project.Deal Execution & Due Diligence: Support the negotiation and execution of PPA contracts, focusing on critical commercial and legal terms. Prepare internal documents and presentations for deal approval and investment committee reviews.Industry and Technical Knowledge: Rapidly ramp up knowledge of renewable energy markets, regulatory frameworks, power plant technology (solar/wind), and associated risks in APAC. Maintain documentation of deal structures, market trends, and internal PPA execution best practices.Qualifications:Bilingual fluency in both English & Japanese (N1 or native-level proficiency required).Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages, capable of presenting complex financial data clearly.Experience with financial modeling and valuation tools for infrastructure/renewable energy power plants would be ideal.
