Your primary responsibility is to drive sustainable revenue growth through strong leadership, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making.1. Strategic LeadershipDevelop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals.Set ambitious sales targets and ensure consistent achievement across teams.Lead regional or vertical sales operations to optimize performance and market reach.Represent sales in executive planning and budgeting cycles.2. Team Management & DevelopmentBuild, lead, and mentor high-performing sales teams.Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and continuous skill development.Create a results-driven culture centered on collaboration, accountability, and excellence.3. Sales Execution & Revenue GrowthDrive pipeline development and ensure consistent revenue delivery.Oversee key account management and support senior-level customer engagements.Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.Monitor and analyze sales data to ensure alignment with financial targets.4. Market & Customer InsightsStay informed on market trends, competition, and customer needs.Adapt sales positioning and tactics to meet changing market dynamics.Provide feedback to marketing and product teams to enhance market fit and customer satisfaction.5. Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with the Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align efforts and messaging.Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate sales goals into company-wide objectives.Contribute to strategic decision-making that drives Ashewa’s growth trajectory.6. This position plays a key leadership role in shaping Ashewa’s image, managing stakeholder relationships, and developing integrated marketing strategies that strengthen the company’s market position, drive brand growth, and support business objectives.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Planning and LeadershipDevelop and implement comprehensive PR and marketing strategies aligned with the company’s mission and goals.Lead and manage the PR and marketing team, ensuring high-quality performance and creativity.Set annual marketing budgets, monitor expenditures, and evaluate return on investment (ROI).Coordinate with executive management to align marketing activities with business priorities.Provide strategic advice to management on brand positioning, communication, and reputation management.2. Public Relations and Corporate CommunicationManage all internal and external communication to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with company values.Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, government bodies, and the public.Handle press releases, corporate announcements, media interviews, and crisis communication.Monitor media coverage and prepare PR impact reports for executive review.Organize corporate events, conferences, and community engagement initiatives.3. Marketing and Brand ManagementOversee digital marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns to drive visibility and engagement.Supervise market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights.Manage brand identity across all platforms to ensure consistent messaging and visual representation.Lead the creation of marketing content, advertising materials, and product promotion plans.Collaborate with sales, product development, and design teams to align marketing strategies with company objectives.Job SpecificationsEducational QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business is an added advantage.ExperienceMinimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in marketing and PR, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Proven experience in developing and executing marketing and PR strategies.Experience managing teams and cross-departmental collaboration.Skills and CompetenciesStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent strategic thinking and project management abilities.Advanced understanding of digital marketing tools, analytics, and branding principles.Strong media relations and crisis management experience.Creativity and innovation in content and campaign development.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media management tools, and marketing software (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite).Personal AttributesProfessional, confident, and articulate communicator.High integrity and commitment to company values.Result-oriented and proactive in decision-making.Team player with strong coordination and motivational abilities.
