Before you apply, please read through our Cultural Manifesto 👥ABOUT THE ROLEJOB TITLE: PR & Media Relations AssistantLOCATION: Milan, HQTYPE OF CONTRACT: Paid Internship (800€/ month + meal vouchers)You’ll join our international PR & Communications Team (Marketing), working closely with the PR Manager to support WeRoad’s external communication activities and help grow our brand awareness across Europe.What you'll do:Support day-to-day media relations in Italy and abroad, with a focus on WeMeet, the WeRoad app that connects people through local events in 30+ European citiesHelp coordinate relationships with journalists, agencies, partners, and other external stakeholdersContribute to the organization and execution of PR initiatives and special projects (e.g., research, reports, events)Support the creation and maintenance of corporate materials, including bios, press kits, and speaker profilesAssist in monitoring media coverage and compiling performance reportsCollaborate cross-functionally with Marketing to generate creative ideas that connect PR efforts with broader brand campaignsStay updated on industry trends and propose insights that can inspire new PR stories.What you’ll learn:During your internship, you’ll get hands-on experience in building and managing a brand’s public image on an international scale. You’ll learn how to:Craft press materials, media pitches, and storytelling that reflect our brand voice and valuesBuild and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and key media partners across multiple marketsMonitor and analyse media coverage to measure PR impact and identify new opportunitiesCollaborate closely with marketing, content, and social media teams to ensure message consistency across all channelsSupport event planning and brand activations, learning how PR integrates with the full marketing mixWork side-by-side with international teams from different countries, learning how to adapt strategies and communications to diverse audiences and culturesUnderstand the dynamics of a fast-paced scale-up, learning how creativity and data come together to drive impactBy the end of your internship, you’ll have developed an understanding of international PR strategy, media relations, and brand storytelling within a dynamic, people-first company.What we’re looking for:You are an Italian native or speak the language at a mother-tongue levelExcellent command of English (written and spoken)Passion for communication, storytelling, and mediaA marketer’s mindset, you understand how PR drives brand awareness and engagementBasic understanding of the media landscape (press, online, broadcast, influencers).Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, international environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailsA love for travel and a genuine curiosity for people, cultures, and stories — the WeRoad spirit!You will love working at WeRoad if:You dream big, aim higher, and push yourself beyond limits you didn’t think possible.
