Job Description - Quantity SurveyorPre-ContractPreparation of Budget/Cost EstimatesExtract and prepare BOQs from project drawings, specifications, and site conditionsConduct detailed quantity take-offs to ensure accuracy in material, labour, plants and machineries cost estimationReview tender documents, BOQs, and contract agreementsPost-ContractPrepare and submit monthly payment application to consultant and get it certified within stipulated timeVerify and approve subcontractor progress paymentTrack and control project expenditures, identifying variances and proposing corrective actionsPreparation of cash inflow and cash outflowMonitor cash flow projections, progress claims, and interim payment certificatesTrack and report project progress against budgetPreparation of RFQ Packages, coordinate with Technical and Procurement DepartmentsNegotiate Subcontract packagesQualification & SkillsPost-Contract and Pre-Contract experience in Main Contractor organizationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field5- 8 years of UAE experience, preferably in residential and commercial projectsA Master's Degree or Professional Certification (MRICS or equivalent) is an advantage but not mandatoryStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and flexible to work 6 days a weekIn depth knowledge of UAE construction market and FIDICStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detailExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment
