Research Analyst

CONTRACT: Analyst of User Experience for Clinician Endpoint devices ( #22061 )TERM: One (1) year (01-Sep-2025 to 31-Aug-2026)LOCATION: Remote work from Canada, 7. 5 hours per day, on Atlantic timeRESPONSIBILITIES/DELIVERABLESDocumented Clinician-centered requirements for Endpoint devices and related peripherals Documented Clinical User personas – Development and identification of User Personas for categorization and mapping of Endpoint Device Mix Usability Test Reports- outlining results of usability testing sessions, including identified issues and recommendations for improvementMANDATORY REQUIREMENTSCollege Degree in either Business, Healthcare or Information Technology OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

The candidate must be able to lead engagement, communications, requirement sessions, and training initiatives, ideally, in both French and English 3 years of demonstrated experience with a focus on Canadian health information systems, standards, technology, and/or software. A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience working directly with clinicians in Hospital settings, completing activities such as requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business or clinical process analysis, detailed design activities, and developing business analysis documentation.

Proven experience working in a clinical setting, routinely working with clinicians to ensure the optimal placement and deployment of Endpoints and devices that support clinical workflowsDESIRABLE Skills and AttributesStrong facilitation skills: demonstrated experience in leading workshops to identify and articulate business requirements, system requirements, and develop user stories, user personas, and/or use cases. 3 Years +Demonstrated communication, facilitation, and strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to confidently engage and collaborate with project team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at all levels. 3 Years +Demonstrated experience conducting various research methods (usability testing, surveys, etc. ) to understand user behavior and needs.

2 Years +Previous experience working within New Brunswick's technology or healthcare environments showcasing a strong understanding of the local landscape, policies, and practices. RESPONSIBILITIESClinician End User Requirements - Documented Clinician-centered requirements for Endpoint devices and related peripherals along with identified pain points and inefficienciesDocumented Clinical User personas – Development and identification of User Personas for categorization and mapping of Endpoint Device Mix to appropriate clinical groups and location.

Mapped target state workflows for device deployment indicating endpoint placement mapsUsability Test Reports- outlining results of usability testing sessions, including identified issues and recommendations for improvementRecommendations for Endpoint device mix, including recommendations for furniture, mounts, and adjustments for very tight working spacesCreate and maintain detailed process and solution documentation, including process flows, support models, current and future state diagrams, to ensure seamless transition to new CIS.

Conduct comprehensive analysis of business and technical requirements to support the planning, management, and progression of the technical workstreams within the CIS project; recommend and implement solutions to achieve defined objectives, monitoring their effectiveness.
