Presales Network and Security

Our client is seeking for an experienced Presales Consultant specialising in network and network security solutions. This role involves partnering closely with the sales team and customers to understand requirements, design tailored solutions and provide technical expertise across the presale's lifecycle. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor, bridging business needs with technology solutions to drive customer success and business growth.Roles & ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with internal sales teams to engage with customers.Understand customer business objectives and technical requirements.Deliver presentations, workshops, and demonstrations of networking and security solutions.Develop high-level solution designs (HLD), architecture diagrams, and Bills of Material (BoM).Create technical proposals and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.Work with vendors and distributors to validate proposed designs.Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and solution validation for customers.Ensure smooth handover of designs to post-sales and delivery teams.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in networking and network security.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 5 years of presales or solution design experience in networking and network security.Expertise in:Networking: LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, routing & switchingNetwork Security: Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, NAC, Zero Trust, SASE, DLPCloud networking & security: SSE, ZTNA, CASB, Cloud FirewallsExperience with leading vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, or others.
