Join our team as a Social Food Pantry Assistant and help support individuals and families in your local community. This is a hands-on, behind-the-scenes role that keeps our pantry running smoothly and ensures food gets to those who need it most. Volunteer Shifts Available: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and /or Fridays | 9: 30 AM – 1: 00 PMWhat You’ll Do:
Pack food parcels and fresh produce packs for distributionUnpack and sort donations, including weekly deliveries (potatoes, onions, Kiwi Harvest items)Restock pantry shelves and manage inventoryClean and prepare produce from our on-site garden teamAssist with general cleaning (pantry, kitchen, fridges, and freezers)What We’re Looking For:
Aged 18 or overPhysically able and happy to roll up your sleevesOrganised, reliable, and a team playerComfortable working in a busy, task-focused settingAble to commit to at least 1 x shift per week for a minimum of 3 monthsWhether you're passionate about food security, community service, or just want to help out—we’d love to have you on board.
