Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and organised Prescription Coordinator to join our Reading-based operations team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of Montu UK's founding team, playing a key role in shaping the patient journey and supporting clinical excellence in a fast-growing, digitally led healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, detail-oriented, and confident working cross-functionally with pharmacy, clinical, and operational teams to ensure seamless prescription management and patient support.About the role:The role of the Prescription Coordinator is onsite at our Reading office and sits within the operations team. The role requires a dynamic and patient centric individual who wants to help Montu patients and clinicians get the best out of the service. The candidate will be part of the UK founding team and help establish the operations and patient facing team:Responsibilities will include but not be restricted to :Answering patient queries by telephone and emailMaintain patients’ electronic health recordsMaintaining full and accurate record of prescriptionsWork closely with the pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure smooth dispensing and delivery of medication to patients Updating patients with any changes in their prescriptionWorking with partner pharmacies to ensure prescriptions sent externally are delivered and dispensed correctlySupport operational and clinical recruitment and onboardingCollate feedback and liaise with Head of Governance on complaints and complimentsReport Incidents and significant events and liaise with Head of Governance on Incident and Significant eventsSupport clinicians working in the service with operational queriesLiaise with product and tech support team on technical issuesWork closely with line manager and wider team on service improvement Attend work related meetings as requiredTo maintain all mandatory training and familiarity with company policies and SOPSShift based and flexible working maybe required from time to timeSkills, Experience, and Qualification:2 plus years of work experienceWorking in a healthcare environment advantageous but not essentialExcellent attention to detailGood understanding of working a highly regulated industry and following policies and SOPsHigh level of IT proficiency Ability to work under pressure What we offer:Competitive Salary 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after one year &30 after 2 years) + bank holidaysCycle to work schemeCompany pension planCareer growth and professional development opportunitiesAbout MontuMontu UK is a leading digital health company specialising in cannabis-based medicines (CBPM).
