WorkSafe Ontario Fund Inc. (WorkSafe Ontario) is a not-for-profit corporation established by WSIB Ontario to support investigation and research initiatives that advance workplace health, safety, and injury prevention. Guided by strong governance and a commitment to transparency and accountability, WorkSafe Ontario contributes to building safer, healthier, and more resilient workplaces across the province.Prime Management Group Inc. is pleased to partner with WorkSafe Ontario Fund Inc. in the search for a strategic, principled, and integrity-driven President & Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization from its London, Ontario head office. This is a compelling leadership opportunity for a highly accomplished executive with a deep understanding of government collaboration, industry partnerships, fund governance, and ethical oversight. The President & CEO will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of workplace health and safety in Ontario through visionary leadership, sound stewardship, and unwavering public accountability.Reporting to an independent Board of Directors, the President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides strategic leadership, governance oversight, and operational accountability to ensure the effective delivery of programs and services that advance WorkSafe Ontario’s mandate. This highly visible and influential role requires a leader of integrity with strong financial and ethical judgment, a deep understanding of the public sector environment, and the ability to strengthen the organization’s strategic impact, partnerships, and reputation as a trusted steward of research and innovation in occupational health and safety. The CEO will provide transparent, values-driven leadership, aligning priorities and resources to achieve measurable outcomes that position Ontario as a global leader in workplace injury and prevention research.The CEO will foster collaboration with government partners, research institutions, and industry stakeholders, ensuring the organization remains forward-thinking, compliant, and responsive to emerging provincial and national priorities in workplace safety and prevention. A trusted advisor to the Board, the CEO will maintain the highest standards of fiscal responsibility, program governance, and ethical leadership.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience within a government, Crown agency, or highly regulated public sector organization.Proven expertise in fund oversight, research ethics, governance, and policy implementation.Strong understanding of Ontario’s public accountability and transparency frameworks.Demonstrated success working with government stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and funding partners.Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering measurable organizational outcomes.Exceptional strategic thinking, political acuity, and judgment.Post-secondary education in Public Administration, Business, Law, or a related field.Prime Management Group Inc. is pleased to accept applications.
