Pricing Actuary (Reinsurance – Dublin based)

Oliver James is working with a leading Dublin based Reinsurer who are looking for the support of a newly qualified Actuary to join their Pricing division.This is a Dublin based opportunity, you must live in Ireland to be considered.RoleThe position will span across all areas of pricing and new business acquisition, this is a varied role perfect for an individual who is looking to expand on their existing knowledge and progress in a position surrounded by experienced pricing Actuaries and senior stakeholders.This is an incredible opportunity to learn directly from experienced pricing leaders in an open and approachable environment where senior leaders are highly accessible. You’ll have a clear succession path and structured support to progress your Actuarial career.Notable company benefits include ability to work overseas 20 days per year as per the Global Mobility Scheme, as well as access to thriving and inclusive charity and social committees!Required Experience– FSAI/ FIA, 1-4 years PQE– Actuarial position within Life Insurance/ Reinsurance– Pricing, no particular product line– Knowledge of SII regulatory requirements– Excellent soft skills including effective communication and good time and task managementSalary: €75,000-€85,000 dependent on experience + package.Location: Dublin – 2 days per week in office.
