Job Description

The Pricing Analyst will work closely with members of the Sales, Sales Engineers, Product and Finance departments utilizing various tools in order to provide deal desk/quoting functions for the company’s products. This position will play a critical role in contributing to the company’s performance by providing deal support.Key AccountabilitiesDrive, Provide commercial support for Colt products including but not limited to Optical, Ethernet, IPVPN, IP Access, and Managed Services.Act as trusted adviser to Sales on pricing, product configuration, and business terms to support the sales effort.Work with Sales Team, Solution Architects, Product Managers, Network, Finance, Vendors to come up with lowest cost solutions that best fit customer requirements.Utilize various tools such as Excel and other internal systems to structure the deals.Investigate and recommend enhancements to existing pricing programs.Lead and/or participate in strategic pricing discussions and projects.Track and analyze market/customer trends and competitive pricing moves in order to recommend appropriate course of actions.Lead and/or participate in specific pricing initiatives from investigation to implementation.Role RequirementsSkills & ExperiencesBusiness level Japanese – verbal and writtenExperience in Deal Pricing or related activitiesExperience in international environmentProven experience in commercial finance and/or negotiations – commercially astute.Strong relationship building skills to quickly establish credibility and rapport with sales and key stakeholdersStrong Excel modelling skillsOther preferencesEnglish capability is a plusProactive, independent with strong sense of ownershipDeploy high degrees of diplomacy and cultural awarenessAbility to think and act internationally and cross functionallyAbility to work under multi-task, pressure and tight deadlinesTeam playerCustomer orientedWhat We Offer YouLooking to make a mark?At Colt, you’ll make a difference.
