From our humble beginnings in 2005 supporting Staysure Travel Insurance, we’ve evolved into a dynamic, multi-entity organization delivering tech and shared services across the entire Staysure Group and its affiliated brands.We proudly serve as the exclusive technology and services provider within the broader Howsam Capital ecosystem a portfolio of high-growth ventures spanning InsurTech, TravelTech, Retail, and Logistics.About the RoleProvide pricing insights and analysis to support pricing strategies, explaining pricing decisions, product positioning, and working with the underwriters to evaluate the impact on loss ratios.Use Tableau to produce reports, dashboards, and visualization's that communicate pricing actions and product performance to underwriters and the business.Collaborate with underwriters and other business units to ensure pricing strategy alignment and facilitate discussions on product positioning and competitiveness.Assist in price optimization work, working with the Pricing team and Pricing Data Scientists.Role and ResponsibilitiesDeliver pricing insights and analysis, helping explain pricing decisions, product positioning, and their impact on loss ratios to underwriters and business teams.Use SQL, Python, R, Excel, and Tableau to work with large datasets for analysis and reporting.Collaborate with underwriters and business teams to communicate pricing actions and provide data-driven recommendations.Produce visual reports and dashboards using Tableau, communicating pricing actions and performance insights.Investigate pricing-related queries and provide clear data-driven solutions.Contribute to pricing projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing strategies align with business goals.Job RequirementsEducated to a degree level [preference for degrees in a relevant field (or relevant experience) and beneficial if includes programming or coding component]Experience working with large datasets and conducting data analysis.Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R.Strong skills in Tableau for data analysis, reporting, and visualization, with the ability to create advanced dashboards.Experience managing and leading important projects.Strong Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Minimum 1-3 years Pricing Analyst work experience, within Insurance Industry.Good to have experience, skills & certificationsTravel Insurance Pricing experience.Project Management experience managing and leading important projects.Experience building strong relationships with underwriters and the wider business to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and objectives.Prior experience in price optimization.Diversity & InclusionAt Intervest, we’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
