Primary Talent Partners has an open 12 month W2 contract with a large sciences client of ours in the Carlsbad, CA area. Pay Range:   $45. 00 to $50. 00 per hour (No PTO, benefits, etc but self funded ACA-compliant healthcare plan available to opt-in to) Job Description SummaryThe Program / Project Manager will be a member of the Global Operations team. The role will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of the transfer of Reagents and Consumables Manufacturing across multiple global locations, while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

The scope includes but is not limited to Product Transfers, Manufacturing Line Transfers, New Product Introductions, and any other assigned projects. Different types of projects may be assigned based on resource availability and program objectives. Extensive experience in leading innovation program management will be highly valued. Essential Job ResponsibilitiesLead the planning and implementation of multiple operations programs. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables. Define project tasks and resource requirements. Develop full-scale project plans. Manage Project History File, Meeting Minutes, Risk Management Files, and other project documentation. Manage project resource allocation. Plan and schedule project timelines.

Track project deliverables using appropriate tools. Provide direction and support to project teams. Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders. Present reports defining program progress, problems, and solutions to senior management (VPs, Directors). Work on Kaizen with stakeholders to accelerate program timelines while ensuring quality and cost. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project deliverables, including but not limited to manufacturing phase-in and hand-off to operations teams and operationalize the project after launch through proper closing.

Continue to monitor and measure project success upon launch and address post-launch issues to the organization for continuous improvements. Program evaluations and assessment of results. Develop and coach project management methodology to other operations leaders and project managers and support them to achieve project KPIs and success. Manage and lead globally dispersed, cross-functional teams through multiple communication levels and mediums throughout the organization, to deliver project objectives. Ensure compliance of operations within areas of concern with all relevant EHS and Quality requirements and company safety and quality policies, procedures, and guidelines in an ISO9001 or ISO13485 environment.

Any other related project activities as assigned by supervisor. Training Responsibilities (Required)Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time. DBS Immersion on VPM, PSP, and DM. Minimum RequirementsEducation and Experience (in years): Bachelor's degree is required or higher. Operations, Chemical Engineering/Chemistry, Engineering, or similar technical fields preferred. 5-8 years of direct work experience in program management with demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Knowledge and Skills: Proven experience in scaling and dynamic environments are a plus. Superior knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of program management.

Excellent knowledge of program management techniques and tools. Working knowledge of quality documentation management systems. Experience in real estate projects evaluation and implementation. Proven experience in people management. Proven experience in risk management. Proficient in project management software. Can travel up to 30% (including Asia and North America). Preferred RequirementsPMP certification is highly preferred. Experience and domain knowledge in medical devices or life science industry is highly preferred. Knowledge of cGMP and other applicable regulations preferred. Experience or knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma an asset. Operations experience is preferred.
