Position Summary: The Head, Merchant Portfolio Management is responsible for leading and carrying out the company's seasonal product strategy, as well as for the direction and administration of products, including pricing and market competitiveness. Ability to deliver and promoteproducts that are in line with business objectives and financial targets. Job Responsibilities: • Plan and develop a merchant acquisition and partnership strategy to achieve the desired campaigns or programs as well as the businesstargets and goals. • Build and maintain excellent relationships and engagement with key merchants, partners, and stakeholders.
• Manage to operate cost-effectively via a periodic and systematic review of all budget lines as well as the various cost-saving initiatives. • Manage the budget effectively to ensure a healthy and proper expenditure; and a balanced approach in supporting the growth of top-line and managing relationships. • Strictly adhere to merchant business standards, including audits, Card Payment Data and Security, Prince Bank Merchant FraudPrevention standards, and regulators, while maintaining acceptable performance levels. • Proactively explore innovative solutions and ideas in collaboration with technology, products, sales, digital banking, marketing, and otherstakeholders to create new and breakthrough merchants and partnerships business streams.
• Explore innovation and implement process reengineering within the Branch sales team to existing merchants or Business customers toenable customer onboarding and management, maximize staff productivity, and minimize operational processes and risks. • Coordinate and cooperate with Technology and Digital Banking stakeholders to ensure necessary functionalities are available in themerchants and partnerships-related systems and they are maintained as well as the resources to support the merchants and partners. • Coordinate and cooperate with Finance and Centralized Operations to ensure all financial reconciliations are completed promptly. Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in the relevant field of Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or any relevantfield. • At least 7 years’ experience in banking and finance. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field (preferably in Merchant, cards, payments, business) in a team lead capacity. • Highly detailed, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Display strong leadership and managerial qualities. • A good communication and Interpersonal skills, motivator, and team player. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities plus creative thinking and innovation in search of a competitive edge.
• Demonstrate personal responsibility/ accountability to deliver the desired results. • Keen on networking and expanding good business relationships with the customer – both internal and external. • Excellent in English proficiency both verbal and written, and Chinese is a plus.
