Principal/Associate Director, Project Management Lead (Non-Oncology)

ResponsibilitiesLeading the planning/execution of portfolio projects and programs in CNPTsResponsible for the development of strategic options for a projectResponsible for coordinating the creation of project plan (business case, cross-functional development plans, budget and timeline), and project plan update and maintenanceResponsible for tracking performance of project delivery - Tracking and managing project performance (e.g., timeline/budget), monitoring/addressing emerging issues, and providing regular project update to governance body, stakeholders and senior managementCoordinating the project plan approvals by governance bodies and communicating the decision to stakeholdersLeading respective project review at C-PRF and PMCBe the interface with GPT project mgmt on CNPT behalfProvide mentorship to Junior PMLsLead/contribute to initiatives that have impact across portfolioRequirementsDeep knowledge in drug development and R&D project management, with both global and China experienceDeep knowledge and experience in financial management of projects and developing the business cases for projects.Disease Area expertise in one or more therapy areas and experience with both small and large moleculesUnderstanding of project management tools and ways of working to plan, execute, identify and mitigate risks for a projectLeadership, strategic thinking, problem solvingCommunication & Presentation skillsEffective meeting and time mgmt and meeting minute organizationAbility to see cross-project dependencies and act to resolve issuesInfluencing and stakeholder management skillsAt least 8 years relevant working experience in drug developmentGlobal working experience is a must【AstraZeneca is an equal opportunity employer.
