As part of this high-impact team, you’ll work on the cloud deployment of Redis, supporting over 200 million operations per second at sub-millisecond latency, with true linear scalability.This role plays a critical part in our cloud offering. You’ll own and enhance the component that orchestrates the maintenance of our customers’ production Redis clusters. If you're excited by cloud challenges and want to be part of something big, this is your opportunity.What You’ll DoLead the evolution of a production system at the very heart of Redis Cloud from a monolith to modular, cloud-native servicesBuild and maintain internal systems that orchestrate cluster lifecycle operations (create, upgrade, recover, delete)Design and build for production-grade reliability, including observability, self-healing, and fault-tolerant behaviorCollaborate with infrastructure, platform, and SRE teams to improve automation workflowsContribute to technical vision, architecture decisions, and engineering best practicesTake end-to-end ownership of critical backend components used by internal and external customersWhat will you need to have? 8+ years of backend development experience, preferably in Python or similar.Proficiency in designing and building stable, robust large-scale cloud systems.Strong understanding of distributed systems.Experience with microservices and RESTful API design.Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous workflows.A high level of autonomy, ownership, and communication in cross-team projects.We Give Back To Our EmployeesOur culture is what makes Redis a fun and rewarding place to work.
